Cancellation and refundsLAST UPDATED 9 SEPTEMBER 2026
A very faint field of concentric arcs radiating from one edge, crossed by three long horizontal bands.

How to stop paying, and how to get money back.

Both of them in one place, including the statutory form, so that nothing has to be hunted for.

Cancelling a subscription

Go to Account → Billing and press Cancel, then confirm. That is the whole thing. There is no retention flow, no telephone call, no notice period and no cancellation fee. You can also cancel by emailing support@hindujatech.shop from the address on the account.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and we send you a confirmation saying which date that is.

Your 14-day right to cancel

As a consumer you have the right to cancel a contract made at a distance within 14 days, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The 14 days run from the day after the contract is made.

When that right ends, and why we ask you two things at checkout

Rattlemap is a digital service that starts working the moment you subscribe. Under regulation 37 of those Regulations, the right to cancel is lost once the service has been fully supplied — but only if, before supply began, you:

  1. expressly requested that supply begin during the 14-day period; and
  2. acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel once the service had been fully supplied.

That is exactly what the two tick boxes at checkout are. They are separate, neither is pre-ticked, and the choice is genuinely yours. Both are repeated back to you in your order confirmation email.

If you would rather not tick them, email us and we will hold your subscription until the 14 days have passed. You will not be charged in the meantime, and you will not have lost anything.

If you cancel within 14 days having ticked both boxes and having used the service, we may charge a proportionate amount for what you used up to the moment you told us. In practice, for a subscription of this size, we usually just refund it.

Refunds and disputes

This is our whole refund position, not a summary of one:

  • Within 14 days of a first subscription: full refund, as set out above.
  • A renewal you did not intend: if you tell us promptly after a renewal and have not used the service in that period, we refund it in full.
  • The service did not work: if a fault stopped you using what you paid for, we refund the affected period. This is your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and we do not ask you to argue for it.
  • Part way through a period, having used it: we do not normally refund the remainder, because you can keep using the plan until the period ends. If your circumstances are unusual, write to us.
  • We closed your account for anything other than a serious breach: we refund the unused part of the period.

Refunds go back to the payment method used, normally within 5 working days of us agreeing one, and always within 14 days.

If you think a charge is wrong, write to support@hindujatech.shop with the date and the amount. We acknowledge within two working days and resolve or explain within ten. Please come to us before raising a chargeback — it is almost always faster, and we would rather fix it than argue about it. Raising one is still your right.

Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights.

Alternative dispute resolution

There is no general obligation on a UK business to belong to an alternative dispute resolution scheme, and we do not belong to one. If we cannot resolve something between us, you keep every right you had before, including the right to take the matter to the courts of England and Wales.

Model cancellation form

This is the statutory form set out in Schedule 3, Part B of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not have to use it — any clear statement that you are cancelling will do — but it is here if you want it. Complete it and return it to us.

Schedule 3, Part B — Model cancellation form
